[UK/EU] Summer releases now available at LEGO.com
Posted by Huw,
Dozens of new sets are now available at LEGO.com, including the stunning Technic 42115 Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, Creator, City, Ninjago, Dots, Friends, Jurassic World, Harry Potter, Minecraft, Hidden Side and much more.
Plus, for three weeks, or while stocks last, this cool 40409 Hot Rod is the gift with purchases over £85/€85/85.
A smaller selection of sets should also be available in the USA and Canada although most of the aforementioned are being released in August in North America.

Just ordered the Lambo, but no free roadster set with my purchase here in America. Lame.
Damn I really wanted to snag those DC sets
The Avengers and City sets don't seem available to purchase, but if the Lamborghini is live I have no idea why the other sets aren't.

I did as well, and didn't get the roadster. Went back in, added the lambo to my cart again, and this time roadster. We might've been too quick. I just submitted a second order, and sent an email to Lego to cancel the first one. They really should have a simple cancellation built into the website, so we can request them on our own without having to contact customer service.
Very disappointing. Was looking forward to buying some new sets tonight, but apparently all the ones I want aren't available in the US.
Kinda heartbroken. Thought the US was getting the new Creator sets today so I could get the pirate ship and score the hot rod. But alas no. No Barracuda Bay set or modulars back in stock either...aww man.

Doh, you could have waited for it to be 25% off on Amazon and used the spare cash to buy LOADS of the roadsters on eBay! Buy smarter, not faster.
Having said that, I understand the impatience: I went straight for 31109 but didn't get there quick enough to avoid 'Back Order'...

Same here friend. Stayed up to snag the Bat-Base and the Joker Trike Chase. Now I have to wait until August. Just terrible.
:( I'm so sad I wanted the New Friends sets!!!!
I've been refreshing Lego.com but I guess the US market isn't up yet. Maybe in a couple more hours. Specifically the new City and Friends sets.
I really wanted to get the Pirate Ship for my birthday this month but it isn't available yet for US. Ordered some of the HP Minifig sets, the Black Widow Minifig set, a couple of things on Backorder & two of the Mini Storage Heads. Got both the Roadster & Buggy GWP's. Hoping some of the other items on my wishlist become available sooner rather than later so I can maybe snag another roadster before the promo ends.

Really?! That sucks. I heard it would be June for most of those. :(
Hot Rod and 6253476 Tulips as GWP here. They will come with two Ninjago sets.
Weird releases here in the UK;
Helicarrier and Wrath of Loki showed as "coming soon".
They have been added - cool.
Also added Venom T-Rex and Falcon Pack.
Tower and Hulkbuster not added.
We do have the DC stuff.
Strange.
Yeah, none of the new Superheroes nor Hidden Side sets are up here. They're all still 'comming soon'. I had to cobble together a 'plan B' order around the Harry Potter and Falcon & Widow minifig packs (which are available, oddly enough) to bump up the total to qualify for the pomos.
Pirate ship already on 60 day backorder in the UK.
Just remembered the date and ordered The White House and Pirate Ship. Can't believe that's on back order already! That's 2 sets since May 7th I've got to wait for now. Glad I remembered as I dread to think what the order status would have been if I hadn't. Just as well this is Xmas purchasing.

Same here. Except I can't order the White House and Pirate ship yet cause I'm in the US. Really glad I ordered that Pirates of Barracuda Bay right away as it was gone shortly after I ordered it I assume.
Many of the new sets aren't available yet in the Australian store. The notification that sets would be released June 1 has been changed to "Coming Soon", as others have observed. I wonder how soon that will be. I'm disappointed.

That's strange, given that those sets are already in stores across New Zealand (and Australia?). I got the 42107 Ducati from my local Toyworld today.
(Back)ordered the 31109 Pirate Ship and got the Hot Rod GWP. Don't care how long it takes to get here, this ship is a set that is worth waiting for.
TLG should take note when anything Pirate is selling so fast that it is on backorder within minutes. Yet they're still trying to tell us a new Pirates theme wouldn't sell. As laughable as it is pitiful.
Stay on top of that Creator Pirate ship! I have to wait til August just to get that and the White House cause I'm in the US! Glad I didn't mess around getting that Pirates of Barracuda Bay set. I thought about getting the Lamborghini as soon as it was released, but I held off cause of tax day coming up, the set wasn't a day 1 purchase for me anyways and I want to use the money I saved for sets like the August Technic, Architecture and Creator sets coming. I was waiting for that haunted house at 11pm CT on May 19th, but it wasn't released til 9-10 hours later and I missed out. I work in a haunted house, going on 8 if the pandemic allows, so that set was a priorty. I wanted the GWP Hot rod, but the only way I see getting it is if that Haunted House comes back soon. Not going to spend $80 on a set I don't want to get it, mainly because the sets I want are on backorder!
Gotta hope that production ramps up or it's going to be a long waiting period for most fans, it's like the Lego shop is a gold rush!
Haunted House for 7 years, going on 8*
The Iron Man Helmet isn't in the catalogue at all in the UK; thought that was being released today as well.
I can't see 60260 either, oddly enough.
Amazon in Australia has most of the new range for 20%-30% off

Many sets out of stock though. :(
Is the new Avengers Tower and Hulkbuster not out this month then?
Finally ordered 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay using your link. :-)

I hear ya! Also, I am really looking forward to Lego's financial report for 2020 this time round. It's gotta be a big growth year for them.
Thank you, Brickset! I placed my little $88 order using your link and two unexpected things happened:
1. The 5 item ( Harry Potter minifigs included) went through smoothly and quickly, and
2. The buggy got stacked with the hot rod, so I got two GWP.
It's gonna be a good day!
@AustinPowers
Maybe the LEGO guy promised to Maersk guy there will never be a pirate theme again. Not to encourage piracy...
Not sure how their site works... Just after midnight here the new sets were available but the HotRod didn't appear until an hour later.
Still, happy to have ordered the Ducati before the Backorder kicked in.
So 31109 Pirate ship will not be available in the US until August 1? I had been refreshing the site hourly since midnight and thought I had better check here to see what was up.

Yeah, which is why I've been holding off on most of my purchases. I've made an order on LEGO today cause I wanted the roadster but only included small sets that wouldn't get a significant discount anyway.
Thanks, I'll see what I can grab for myself.

Same here, while I could have ordered the Barracuda Bay, which I still plan to, I'll hold that off until a bigger GWP , if they ever do something the size of 2019 Christmas Tree.
Instead I got mostly small sets like Xtra Botanical Accesoires, and Extra DOTS series 1`+2 and some others.
As for the 3-in-1 Pirate Ship, I don't think it's LEGO exclusive so I'll wait for that as well.
Not sure why none of the good stuff (City, Friends, Pirate Ship, etc) is available in US/CA on June 1st as expected. August 1st now? Come on.
Well, on the bright side, us Americans have some more time to save up!
I wonder whether the delay in US set availability is related to the Mexican factory being shut down due to COVID-19 concerns. After all, Lego did mention that in their recent post about back orders and set retirement scheduling.
@yacoub: the plant in Mexico that services North America has been closed for two months now. They just don't have the resources to produce enough sets at this time. Relax, they will come eventually.

We don’t have time for that! ;). But that actually does make sense as explanation
Ahh, so the Barracuda Bay set was either produced in another factory or was already produced prior to the shutdown. Makes sense.
The Western Hemisphere switches off with the rest of the world every year and gets a huge selection of new sets months after everyone else. Then 2 releases later the Americas get several themes first and everyone else on the planet lags. It's standard and occurs in planned cycles, pandemic or no. I don't know why LEGO does this and have not heard any official explanation or even a hint. It usually generates region vs. region & fan vs. fan animosity that's very frustrating to see repeating over & again.
Why has the listing for 76151 been pulled?
I figured that last year's release of the Trafalgar Square on June 1st in Europe and then August 1st in the Americas made sense because of bigger "know of" the set.
But this year, seeing the same strategy for the White House? Don't understand whom at LEGO figured that this seemed like a good idea...
I called customer service today about the new Avengers sets, and they said that they were meant to release today but had been delayed for an unknown reason and to keep checking the website since they could still go up today. It’s strange, and the Venomosaurus Ambush set has also vanished from the site so I’ve got no clue what’s happening.

If your purchase was eligible for the free gift set but you didn't get it than you should contact the Lego customer service. In my experience they're always very helpful and they should be able to help you out and send you the free set

I have noticed this as well and it is indeed frustrating. Maybe not as brutal as Nintendo's low supply and high demand tactic but because of the pandemic it sure does feel like that sometimes. I might guess that the cycle things to ease the burden on certain factories? I know at the end of the day, though, this is just a luxury for those that can afford it and there are far, far worse things going on in the world.
General question.
If you preorder/back-order a set that has a GWP included, do you still get that GWP when the set ships?
Or do you get the GWP available at the time of purchase
Or do you simply not get the GWP because of “while supplies last”
For example, I preordered the Razorcrest, included at the time the 40th Anniversary Train. Will that train ship when the Razorcrest ships, or no such luck?
Wanted spider ham. No luck tho
What's a toy store? I mean, I know what the words mean individually, but I just can't remember what such a thing would be. ;-)
All I’m saying is with all this stuff selling out, I’m waiting up till midnight to get the 501st battle pack on August 1st. That’ll be gone by the end of the day, tops

I think if it added it to your cart and it appeared on your receipt it should do. But I’m not fully sure

You get whatever goes in your cart at time of purchase. You can check your order status on the Lego site and it shows you there what GWP you got
